These illustrations by Rachel Howard are so beautiful, lots of embroidery details directly made into the papers and Liberty fabric. (Selvedge issue 10)

I am so happy to be able to show the decoration for the children department at Liberty 3 years ago… Thanks to Oh Joy, I discovered Claire Coles. I saw the beautiful embroided ceramics and stunning wallpapers (using Cath Kidston roses wallpaper) in Mint but I didn’t make the connection between all these creations before. Go and have a look, she is an very talented.

L’atelier de Nathalie Lete c’est le bazard colore, des merveilles partout, des peintures, des sacs, des cartes postales, des livres, des t-shirts, des tapis, les poteries avec Astier de la Villatte (la liste est interminable)… Je suis vraiment contente d’avoir rencontre cette artiste dans son atelier. Merci Pour l’accueil tres tres sympa! (C’est Bertrand qui a fait les photos pendant que je cherchais des tresors et qu’Antonin regardait les oiseaux).

It is 1/2 term so we are going to Paris for few days… We will go to Bonpoint concept store, Bonton, Oona l’Ourse, have a drink at Le laurier and see David Lynch exhibition at la fondation Cartier… I hope to find some cards, books and t-shirts by Nathalie Lete, I love her quirky illustrations of Paris.
