Elizabeth Peyton exhibition Live forever at the whitechapel Gallery.
I didn’t realise the paintings were so small, not much bigger than a magazine page, on wood (not canvas) with a thick white base and very diluted paint. I love her intimate feminine portraits, especially Napoleon, Delacroix and Kurt Cobain.
